The University of South Dakota (USD) will present degrees to 560 graduates at its 40th annual Winter Commencement this Saturday in the DakotaDome.
Jeffery Holcomb will give the keynote address. Holcomb is a USD alumnus who earned a bachelor's degree in German and political science and a master's degree in public administration. He is now president and CEO of Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls.
A full list of graduates' names can be found on USD's website and is searchable by name, hometown and map.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. and will also be streamed live online at goyotes.com. Graduates are free to invite as many guests as they'd like and no tickets are required. The ceremony is expected to last 60 to 90 minutes.
The University of South Dakota was founded in 1862 and is South Dakota's only public liberal arts university. Current student enrollment is approximately 10,000, taught by a faculty of more than 400 professors.
