Yahui Zheng, a senior at Bryant University, was named a finalist in the Teradata Student Analytics Competition.

The competition, with the goal of helping to advance the use of analytics in business, recognizes students with excellent analytics education. It allows students to present findings on how select cultural organizations can improve their fundraising, serve their audiences better and increase their organization’s operational cost-effectiveness.

Zheng built a report entitled “How Big Data is Used in the Accounting Field.”

Students from Canada, Thailand and Australia are among the other finalists. Zheng, along with her faculty adviser Suhong Li, a professor of Computer Information Systems, received scholarships to attend the conference.
