Adrian College’s graduate athletic training program recently completed its comprehensive re-accreditation program and now boasts 100 percent compliance with national standards.

Through review from the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), the college’s administration, program faculty, students, staff and clinical preceptors were reviewed. Site visitors from CAATE visited on- and off-campus facilities and clinical sites to review and conduct interviews.

After this in-depth review, Adrian College announced that out of 109 CAATE standards, its athletic training program received zero citations. The program has 100 percent compliance with accreditation standards and has a 93 percent student pass rate on the national boards.

“The overall climate and the level of commitment by all college personnel are infectious,” the site visitors said. “Each member of the college community demonstrates great pride in enhancing the reputation of the college and, specifically, the Athletic Training Program.”
