Boise State has announced the creation of ONE Boise State, an orientation program for new employees that will improve the on-boarding system at the university.

ONE Boise State came to fruition after the campus community expressed a desire for a more comprehensive orientation. The university heeded these thoughts and set about developing a system to retain new talent, ensure consistent messaging and provide new team members with the tools and resources needed to succeed.

ONE Boise State will include benefits and payroll in-person question-and-answer sessions available on Wednesdays along with a self-paced program for new managers that lasts 90 days. Additionally, ONE Boise State has a platform of five steps to successful onboarding. This platform is designed for leaders to jump-start a successful orientation and on-boarding experience for new faculty and staff.

This summer, the human resources department will also offer a self-paced orientation program for remote or distant faculty.
