Boise State University is bringing wellness screenings to its students as part of its BroncoFit program.

On select days throughout the semester, Preventative Health will host screening clinics on campus from 7:30-10:30 a.m.

The university is asking its students to take 15-20 minutes to check on their health. The screenings are free with verifiable insurance. Additionally, participation does not prohibit one from seeing their primary care provider.

Wellness screenings include, among other things, a thyroid test, diabetes test, lipid panels and a blood pressure check. It is therefore recommended to fast for eight hours before the screening.
