Philadelphia University will host a Global Service Jam on Feb. 26-28, where innovative thinkers from around the world will come together to discuss community improvement ideas.

The event, which is open to all ages, involves participant discussion on possible service opportunities in tech, healthcare, education and transportation and other areas and work with professionals across a variety of fields.

Strategic Design MBA students from PhilaU will co-facilitate the event, which will see all participants respond to a prompt by developing brand new services inspired by that prompt.

The goal of the Global Service Jam is to focus on a design-based approach to creativity and problem solving. It was formed in 2011 by like-minded service design aficionados who share a passion for service design.
