Among those named to the annual Idaho Business Review's list of 50 Women of the Year, Boise State is pleased to have been associated with 22 of these honorees.
The award recognizes five areas of accomplishment -- professional achievement, leadership, mentorship for fellow women, leadership within the community and community service.
Of the 22 women chosen, two members of Boise State's faculty have been given top honors. Nancy Napier is a professor at the college of business and economics, and dean of the College of Engineering Amy Moll is a professor of materials science and engineering.
Twenty other winners from Boise State's staff and alumnae are Karen Appelgren, Catherine Chertudi, Janice Fulkerson, Erin Guerricabeitia, Autumn Kersey, Beth Ineck, Sarah (Xiaoye) Jin, Dana Kirkham, Diana Lachiondo, Marcia Liebich, Molloy Mettler, Patricia Olsson, Julia Rundberg, Carole Skinner, Stacie States, Shannon Stoeger, Gloria Totoricaguena, Jill Shelton Wagers, Shawna Walz and America Yorita-Carrion.
The event to honor these women will be held on Feb. 25 at the Boise Center, where there will be an awards ceremony accompanied by a dinner.
