Students at North Central College earned 14 official acknowledgements for their accomplishments in broadcasting this month at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Systems (IBS) International Conference.

Three awards were first place, and the students representing the college radio station WONC-FM 89.1 also brought home 11 other finalist titles.

First-place awards were given for Best Station Promo entry "Mistakes Promo," Best Station Contest or Promotional Event entry "Riot Fest," and Best Promotions Director (Other) for station manager Jessie Marsala.
