Bridgewater College announces Durna Endowed Scholarships

Three Bridgewater College have been awarded the John W. and Lurene M. Durna Endowed Scholarship.

This year’s scholarships were awarded to history and political science majors Abby Muth and Emily Schmidt and economics major Zachary Kues. The scholarship recognizes students who have shown academic prowess during their time at the college and have good standing on the campus.

Students intending to pursue law are considered in the selection process. Students must also be enrolled at full-time status.

All recipients were awarded plaques of recognition from college President David Bushman. All recipients will also have their names placed under the Durna Scholar of the Year that recognizes all past recipients of the scholarship.
