St. Norbert students wins national American Advertising Award

Cameron Stefanowski, a St. Norbert College student from Wadsworth, Illinois, recently won a National Addy Award from the 2016 American Advertising Awards, which will be presented at the ADMERICA event in Anaheim, California, on June 7.

Stefanowski, who is studyng communications/media studies and graphic design, won in the Illustration category for a piece entitled “The Geometrics of John F. Kennedy.” He also recently won an honor from St. Norbert College at the school’s Academic Awards Dinner on April 26. He was the first winner of the F. William Bohné Memorial Art Award, which St. Norbert College created to honor Bohné’s legacy after nearly five decades of work promoting art and education at the school.

Stefanowski is slated for December graduation and plans to work as a communications graphics specialist. Later in his career, he hopes to earn his master of fine arts and to teach art and design at the college level.
