Bradley initiates business accelerator program

Bradley University’s Illinois Small Business Center recently opened Brave Launch, the first business accelerator program in Central Illinois.

Brave Launch was created to help entrepreneurs speed up the growth of their businesses by providing a groundbreaking curriculum and interaction in the real world. The program is designed for startups, small businesses and corporate innovation teams. 

The seven-week program is available to members of the community, students and faculty at the university. The program will include classroom activities and the development of a real world business model.

Spots in the program will consists of 10 teams made up of two to four members. The cost per team once accepted is $500. The application deadline for the program is Aug. 22, with classes beginning on Sept. 27.
