The Spotted Cow has created a new ice cream flavor in honor of the bicentennial birthday of the founder of Bradley University.

The limited time special edition ice cream flavor called Mrs. Bradley’s Birthday Blend was created by Spotted Cow owner Frank Abdnour to celebrate the 200th birthday of Lydia Moss Bradley. The blend includes vanilla ice cream with red velvet ribbon swirled throughout.

The new flavor was released to the public on Aug. 24 at the W. Glen Avenue Spotted Cow location in Peoria, Illinois. Several university student leaders and representatives were on hand for the official debut and tasting, including Bradley President Gary Roberts.
