Bradley hosts Music Scholarship Concert Series

Bradley University recently put tickets for the 2016-17 Music Scholarship Concert Series up for sale, allowing music lovers the opportunity to enjoy seven concerts between October 2016 and April 2017 while supporting music scholarships.
 
The concert series kicks off on Oct. 16 with the Bradley University Jazz Ensemble and Groove Project, directed by Todd Kelly, who will be performing swinging big band music. The performance will take place at the Dingeldine Music Center starting at 3 p.m.
 
Future performances include: the Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band on Nov. 13; the Bradley Chorale Holiday Concert on Dec. 4; a faculty recital featuring Michael Hull on the guitar on Jan. 29; the Illinois Saxophone Quintet on Feb. 12; the Bradley Community Chorus on April 9; and the Bradley Symphony Orchestra on April 30.
 
Tickets for the Music Scholarship Concert Series are available at the Cultural Events Box Office at the Hartmann Center, and proceeds from the series will be used to support the student music scholarships. Admission for individual concerts is $10, and Bradley is offering a series subscription that grants access to all concerts in the series for $45.
