Ashford’s Forbes School named ADEIL College Level Course Award winner

Ashford University’s Forbes School of Business and Technology has been recognized as a 2016 Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL) College Level Course Award winner.

Recipients of the award are selected due to the accomplishments of the institution as well as that of the faculty.

“Ashford University is proud of the innovative, high-quality programs we provide to our students,” Ashford University President and CEO Dr. Craig Swenson said. “The Forbes School of Business and Technology at Ashford University is honored to receive the 2016 ADEIL College Level Course Award.”

Brenda Forde, the Forbes School of Business and Technology Program chair and instructor, accepted the award.

“Business 330 is a highly innovative course that employs the latest technology and real-world applications to provide students with an interactive and engaging classroom experience,” Forbes School of Business and Technology Program Chairman and Business 330 Lead Course Developer Dr. Avisha Sadeghinejad said. “Considering the needs and the nature of our students in mind as the first priority, Business 330 was developed as a course that offers richer learning experiences by creating engagement and giving the students an opportunity to connect theory and practice.”
