The Security Industry Association (SIA) and the University
of Phoenix have announced the SIA Scholarship Program.
Under the program, 10
scholarships for full tuition will be offered to SIA member companies’
full-time employees.
“The SIA Scholarship Program provides employees of SIA
member companies with an unparalleled opportunity to enhance their careers
through achievement in higher education,” SIA CEO Don Erickson said. “This
opportunity represents precisely the sort of value SIA strives to provide its
members, and I am very grateful to University of Phoenix for working with us to
help change the lives of 10 ambitious individuals.”
Applicants will be required to submit three essays and a
letter of recommendation.
“The Security Industry Association is one of the leaders in
the security industry, and University of Phoenix College of Information Systems
and Technology is proud to partner with SIA to offer higher education
opportunities to employees of its member companies,” Executive Dean of the
College of Information Systems and Technology Dennis Bonilla said. “These
