Trenton Klimper, a senior accounting major at the University of South Dakota, was recently chosen to be
a part of the inaugural class of a program that combines advanced
accounting and auditing with specialized courses in technology, data
and analytics.
The KPMG Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics Program was
created in partnership with the global auditing firm KPMG and
provides funding for tuition, room and board, books and fees for
students to earn graduate degrees.
Classes includes hands-on use of KPMG software tools and data sets
currently used by seasoned KPMG professionals.
Klimper will begin work toward his master’s degree this fall at
Ohio State University. The program includes a spring semester 16-week
internship. High performers also have the chance to work in full-time associate positions in
select offices, with the opportunity for an accelerated leadership
career track at KPMG.
