The Cameron University Foundation raised raised $207,879 from 449 contributions during its "Rise to the Challenge" fundraiser held from Nov. 16 to Dec. 14.
The foundation set a goal of 300 contributions to secure a matching contribution of $30,000 from an anonymous Cameron supporter. That benchmark was passed after 17 days of fundraising.
Cameron University is a four-year public university in Lawton, Oklahoma that offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degrees.
