National Society of Leadership and Success inducts new members at St. Joseph's

The National Society of Leadership and Success recently inducted more than 100 students from Saint Joseph's College (SJC) in Rensselaer, Indiana.

An honor society established to aid college students in becoming better leaders, the National Society of Leadership and Success chooses students from their academic standing and leadership potential. To be inducted, students must attend an introduction to the society, training courses and three speaker broadcasts from successful men and woman.

The ceremony featured a speech from SJC President Robert Pastoor and a presentation from the society's executive board explaining the symbols of the society crest. Members of the executive board are President Katie Manika, Vice President Antonia Thomas, Brooke Major, Carlos Branson, Christine Manika, Cori Lane and Allison Zimmerle.

Each inductee received a pin and was awarded a certificate by Pastoor. Once members of the society, they will receive offers of scholarships, awards and aid in finding jobs.
