Over 2,300 South Dakota students receive fall semester honors

The University of South Dakota (USD) finished its fall 2015 semester with more than 2,300 students earning academic honors.

This includes 1,900 students on the Dean’s List for achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 with a course load of 12 or more credit hours and no incomplete or failing grades. Part-time students made up a significant portion of these honors, with nearly 400 making the 3.5 GPA threshold.

The South Dakota Board of Regents sets the policy for these academic honors and eligibility for them.

USD classes will resume Jan. 11.
