Three USF online graduate programs among nation's Top 25

Three of the University of South Florida's online graduate programs appear in the national Top 25 as ranked by U.S. News & World Report. 

Two of USF’s online programs – graduate computer information technology and graduate engineering – rank among the highest in the state for public universities. 

“These online STEM and business-focused graduate degrees are a critical component of our strategic effort to increase student access and provide high-quality programs that align degree offerings and workforce needs," USF Provost and Executive Vice President Ralph Wilcox said. "The university remains committed to maximizing career readiness and advancement, together with ensuring that our students graduate well prepared and ready to compete successfully in the global workforce.”

USF’s graduate computer IT program ranked 14th, its graduate engineering program ranked 20th and its graduate business program ranked 22nd. Located just outside the Top 25 was its graduate education program, which placed 36th.

U.S. News created its 2016 “Best Online Programs’ rankings based on numerous factors, including student engagement, faculty credentials and student services and technology.
