The School of Arts and Sciences at Tiffin (Ohio) University announced that it will centralize recruiting and retention for extracurricular activities within Arts and Science disciplines.

Director of Recruitment and Retention Ali Rees is coordinating opportunities for students to get involved in the performing, visual and media arts. Rees has worked on programs that include music ensembles, dance teams, art teams, concert production team, theater arts, TU’s online radio station WTUD, and the online news organization Tystenac.

“It’s an exciting synergy,” Joyce Hall-Yates, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, said. “Ali brings great enthusiasm and expertise to this new initiative. We are happy to again have all the performing arts under one umbrella, and it’s exciting to open up new recruiting opportunities in broadcast, web and print media. There are a lot of talented prospective students out there who will really add a lot to our campus community.”
