Southwestern Christian University professor Roxanne LaCombe will perform a medley of Valentine's Day music and "Songs for a Loving Savior" at SCU's Collins Chapel Friday at 7 p.m.

LaCombe will be accompanied by fellow faculty member Becky Roman and members of the University Chorale.

When not teaching theater and music courses, LaCombe performs as a soloist throughout the region and furthers her studies during annual summer training in France. She also works with the choir at the First Presbyterian Church of Norman, Oklahoma, and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, American Choral Directors Association, and the Association des Amis de Francis Poulenc.

LaCombe's concert continues a series of performances coordinated by SCU's Creative Arts department to showcase the talents of faculty members and emerging local performers.

Friday's show is free for students and $10 for the public. Ticket sales support the creative arts scholarship fund.
