The University of Arkansas Associated Student Government is holding its annual “Read it and Reap” week this week to increase awareness of student access to national newspapers.

“Read It and Reap” rewards students for participating in newspaper readership. During the dedicated week, students can collect a newspaper and tweet a photo and summary about an article. Those who tweet can win prizes such as Scantrons and Fayettechill shirts.

Additionally, one student per day will receive a certificate inside a newspaper that they can then show to win a prize.

The student government’s current Razorback Readership Program provides access for university students to state and national newspapers that include the New York Times, USA Today and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
