The University of Arkansas is seeking male volunteers for a study exploring the effects of exercising in the heat for one hour.
Men who train or exercise for more than 2.5 hours per week are encouraged to apply. Two trials will be taken in which participants will exercise in the heat for about one hour. One trial will be with a cooling treatment afterward, the other without a cooling treatment.
Each participant will receive information on individual body composition and sweat rates and will be compensated with $20 and potential performance funds of up to $150 after completing the study.
Participants must record diet logs, have no current injuries and no history of heat illnesses in the past three months.
