Two Radford University publications won three awards at February's Council for Advancement and Support of Education District III Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

"The 25th Anniversary of Selu" fundraising materials took home the grand prize for Annual Fund Print and Digital Publication, while The Magazine of Radford University earned a special merit award in Magazine Tabloid Improvement and an award of excellence for last summer's edition.

Both publications, which were created by the school's Office of University Relations and Office of University Advancement, competed against a pool of more than 1,000 entries.

"These awards reflect positively on the University Relations' team and our efforts to advance and advocate the many accomplishments represented by Radford University's talented alumni, students, faculty, staff and our many supporters," Vice President for University Relations and Chief Communications Officer Joe Carpenter said. "I am proud of our staff's teamwork, creativity and professionalism."

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a professional association that supports fundraising, marketing and alumni relations efforts at higher education institutions.
