A March 10 job fair hosted by the University of New Orleans invited nearly 90 employers to the campus, where students had a chance to speak with the representatives from companies including Fortune 500 firms.
The event was attended by over 500 students, many of whom were able to gain interviews on the day of the job fair, director of the university's office of career services Celyn Boykin said.
In addition to the opportunities that students were provided at the fair, there were also students who have since been accepted by the companies and have completed the hiring process.
Another job fair is planned for Sept. 22. Those wishing for more information can contact the career services office.
