Lamar undergraduates receive summer research fellowships

Lamar University announced last week that eight students have been awarded Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships.

Kristi Barnes, Mitchell Davis, Tristen Harris, Hung (Justin) Ho, Lukas Moravits, Luke Placette, Jennifer Watters and William Wheeler had their proposals selected from a field of 31 proposals. The fellowships include a stipend for student and mentors, as well as research support.

The Office of Undergraduate Research creates, facilitates and enhances opportunities for students interested in making a difference in their fields and forming strong mentor relationships with faculty members in their respective disciplines.
