Ashford presents first Sigma Beta Delta graduates

This year’s commencement ceremony for Ashford University will include the graduation of the Forbes School of Business’ first-ever group of Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society inductees, who are students that excelled in business disciplines during their time at Ashford.

The 200 students who are part of the Sigma Beta Delta honor society qualified by ranking in the to 20 percent of their junior, senior or graduate classes, and also received an invitation from the society’s faculty officers.

The society is an international group that encourages and recognizes the achievements of students pursuing careers in business, management and administration. It is only open to students who have demonstrated academic excellence while in business programs at accredited colleges and universities.

Sigma Beta Delta membership is the highest recognition these students can receive on a national level, and the society encourages those who join its ranks towards honorable servie to humankind, through both personal and professional improvement.

The commencement ceremony will take place Sunday at the Viejas Arena in San Diego.
