Joyce Heames has been named dean of the Campbell School of Business at Berry College.
Heames has been most recently associate dean at West Virginia University.
“I look forward to working with the Campbell faculty and staff, who have shown such commitment and love for Berry. We will continue to build on the solid platform already established,” Heames said. “It is hard to maintain incredible rich traditions and keep an innovative and forward focus. However, Berry does, and that is what drew me to accept this position. Outreach drawing upon alumni involvement and developing stronger corporate relations will be one of the cornerstones on which I will focus.”
Heames has bachelor's and master's degrees from Samford University and a Ph.D. in management from the University of Mississippi. She will assume her new position on July 15.
