Ashford hosts second event in 2016 Distinguished Speaker Series

Ashford University’s Forbes School of Business recently hosted its second event in its 2016 Distinguished Speaker Series featuring Proday CEO Sarah Kunst, who spoke about entrepreneurship.

The event was held at the University Club in San Diego with more than 400 participants in attendance or viewing online.

Kunst founded Proday, a personal training fitness app for celebrities. She also works at Marie Claire magazine as a contributing editor and has previously worked for Apple, Red Bull, Chanel, Mohr Davidow Ventures and several startups. She has been published by Techcrunch, The Daily Beast and Entrepreneur.com. 

Kunst has also been named to Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 list, which comprises entrepreneurs under 30 who are considered game-changers. She was also listed as a Top 25 Innovator in Tech by Cool Hunting.

Bob Daugherty, executive dean of Ashford's business school, said it was a privilege to have Kunst speak as part of the university’s series. He went on to talk about how respected and admired Kunst and the knowledge and experience in business and entrepreneurship she brings to the table are.
