George Cope of Palm Beach Atlantic University conducted a development conference for religious leaders in Paris for a week in May.

Cope is an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Orlando campus and a member of the Orlando Campus Advisory Board.

The conference was attended by 96 pastors and dedicated to New Testament leadership. Cope made sure each participating pastor received a copy of the Spirit and Life Study Bible. The Bibles were bought by business leaders in the Orlando area and translated into French. The pastors who attended the conference were the first to receive copies of the Bibles.

“With less than 1 percent of France professing Christ and Christianity, it was a privilege to engage national leaders to think outside the box of traditional," Cope said. "My message was clear: the message never changes, but methods do.”

Cope received invitations to return to Paris to continue training in January and June of next year.
