Butler places 750 students on its spring Dean's List

Butler University placed 750 students on the Dean’s List for the spring semester.

To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, students must be in the top 20 percent of all eligible students in their college at the university. All degree-seeking undergraduates are eligible, so long as they earn at least 12 academic hours of grade credit during the semester. “Pass/fail” classes do not count toward the 12 academic hours of grade credit needed.

For the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, students who place in the top 20 percent of each curricular year earn a spot on the Dean’s List.

From the College of Communication, 29 students majoring in Communication Science & Disorders earned Dean’s List honors, as well as 17 students studying strategic communications and seven studying digital media production.

From the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, there were 12 political science majors, 24 psychology majors, 29 chemistry majors and 46 biology majors.

Other colleges represented were the Lacy School of Business, the College of Education, the Jordan College of the Arts and the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
