Brigham Young University's Education Week will take place from Aug. 15-19, featuring approximately 1,000 classes over many topics that include history, health, finance, personal development, and gospel-related topics associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Volunteer hours can be exchanged for registration fees. Annually, BYU tends to have approximately 600 volunteers during the week. Registration for this is available at edweek.byu/volunteer.
Additional information on courses, schedules, parking and other transportation information is available at educationweek.byu.edu. Certain classes are also eligible for continuing legal education credits. Those pursuing these courses will need to consult their respective bar associations to determine which classes will be adequate. These classes are hosted by both the university and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
There are also classes for students ages 14-18, though those under the age of 14 will not be admitted or allowed in any courses.
Participants are also encouraged to attend evening performances from the Nashville Tribute Band, the Jenny Oaks Baker and Family Four, and SCERA performances of the musical South Pacific.
