John Freemuth was recently named executive director of the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University.

“John Freemuth has been an important part of our environment and public lands work over the past 20 years,” said former Idaho governor and current Andrus Center Chairman Cecil Andrus, after whom the center is named. “John’s commitment to collaborative policy development based on sound science and broad public involvement make him the ideal individual to lead our efforts going forward.”

Freemuth was most recently senior fellow for environment and public lands at Boise State.
