Two alumni of Butler University have been recognized by the Indiana Business Journal’s “Fast 25” this week.

This list includes companies that the publication’s staff believe are the fastest-growing companies within the state. The Indiana Business Journal lists Williams Creek Management Corp., helmed by President Neil Myers, at No. 13 on the list. The company specializes in natural resource construction with projects that focus on meeting requirements associated with the Clean Water Act. Myers graduated from the Lacy School of Business at Butler.

“We were on the cusp of creating a market in central Indiana that did not exist, and we were one of the early pioneers and adopters of this kind of work,” Myers said. “It’s become more of a natural course of acceptance than anything else.”

Breaking into the Top 10, GreenLight LLC was listed at No. 6. Butler alumnus Russell Hughes serves as the company’s CEO. The company sells collectible diecast model cars.

The publication states that GreenLight has seen growth amounting to 199 percent between 2013-15. The company is also in the process of acquiring First Response Replicas and has seen its distributor list grow with the addition of Walmart and Target retail stores.

“Huge congratulations to both Russell Hughes and Neil Myers for successfully leading the tremendous growth of their companies,” Butler business school dean Steve Standifird said. “I’m delighted to see Lacy School of Business alums having this type of positive impact in the local business community.”
