The Bradley University Police Department will once again partner with the Peoria Chiefs to celebrate the good deeds of children in Central Illinois.

Over the next two weeks, the BUPD, as well as several other organizations and agencies, will give away gold Pete Vonachen baseballs to kids who display good behavior and abide by the law. Those who receive the gold baseballs will be able to exchange the balls for two free tickets to the Chiefs’ game on Aug. 3.

"This is an opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships with the families in the campus area and show these kids that staying on the right side of the law is rewarding," Bradley University Police Chief Brian Jaschko said.

This is the third year that the BUPD has teamed up with the Peoria Chiefs to give out the golden baseballs.
