Adam Cross, a recent graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, has begun his service with AmeriCorps through the university’s Workship office.

The first day of his year-long term with AmeriCorps was July 25.

Cross joined Samantha Denker, a 2015 graduate from Palm Beach Atlantic, to build capacity and increase engagement with the Parker Avenue Consortium across campus.

“I am excited that Palm Beach Atlantic University has been awarded a second AmeriCorps position and that it is being filled by a recent alum,” Workship Director Kate Margo said. “Adam's experience in social media and entrepreneurship will bring an innovative perspective into how we grow partnerships in the Parker Avenue community.”

Cross graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic with a degree in philosophy as a member of the Frederick Supper Honors program.
