Best Western, University of Phoenix enter collaboration

Best Western Hotels & Resorts and the University of Phoenix have entered a collaboration aimed at providing corporate employees and individuals employed at Best Western hotels with hospitality education certificates and a reduction in tuition.

Best Western has also named the University of Phoenix as a preferred education supplier, as well as creating customized hospitality certificates reflective of its needs.

“Helping to recruit and retain skilled employees with a passion for the hospitality industry and helping them grow in their careers are critical to delivering exceptional guest experiences,” Best Western Hotels & Resorts vice president of operations Bruce Wienberg said. “Best Western strives to be a leader in hospitality workforce development and assist the hotels where we can with their staff skill levels, and the collaboration with University of Phoenix allows us to enhance our educational offerings to ensure they are industry-aligned and relevant for our workforce.”
