University of Tampa hosts biometrics expert panel

The University of Tampa on Tuesday hosted a panel of biometrics experts who have experience working with the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, CIA and National Security Agency.

The panel of experts featured Mark DiFraia, MorphoTrust's senior director of market development; Ken Meiser, ID analytics vice president of Identity Solutions; Travis Edwards, U.S. Department of Homeland Security public affairs officer; and Christina Sauser, MorphoTrust principal solutions engineer and customer experience center project manager.

The panel discussed the creation of solutions for the future and how many different people with a variety of degrees are needed to do so. This includes degrees ranging from international studies and political science to psychology and art.
