As Christmastime approaches, Saint Joseph's College (SJC) promises to be a haven for those desiring a peaceful celebration.

"Christmas in Collegeville" at Saint Joseph's will provide a number of events for the surrounding community to remember the reason for the season. Along with the Puma family, the college will feature lighting ceremonies, the Gallagher Charitable Christmas Party, as well as "Lessons and Carols."

Additionally, carriage rides, a live nativity, cookies and cocoa will be available for guests -- to make the season even more festive.

As the snow falls, Saint Joseph's encourages the community to visit the campus and appreciate the natural beauty.

"SJC welcomes everyone to put on their favorite jacket and snuggly scarf, grab a hot chocolate from Jazzman’s in the Halleck Student Center, and explore campus," according to www.saintjoe.edu.

The college claims to be a venue with much-needed peace, relaxation and meditation during this busy time of year. Guests from all around the community are asked to come visit, even if just to observe the snow and Christmas lights.
