The Security Industry Association (SIA) and the University of Phoenix have announced the SIA Scholarship Program.

Under the program, 10 scholarships for full tuition will be offered to SIA member companies’ full-time employees.

“The SIA Scholarship Program provides employees of SIA member companies with an unparalleled opportunity to enhance their careers through achievement in higher education,” SIA CEO Don Erickson said. “This opportunity represents precisely the sort of value SIA strives to provide its members, and I am very grateful to University of Phoenix for working with us to help change the lives of 10 ambitious individuals.”

Applicants will be required to submit three essays and a letter of recommendation.

“The Security Industry Association is one of the leaders in the security industry, and University of Phoenix College of Information Systems and Technology is proud to partner with SIA to offer higher education opportunities to employees of its member companies,” Executive Dean of the College of Information Systems and Technology Dennis Bonilla said. “These employees are advancing the future of the security industry, and University of Phoenix has the career-relevant curriculum, experienced faculty and career resources available to help them continue to be innovators.”
