The University of Tampa has set the stage for a symposium led by CEOs from three successful Florida-based companies on Jan. 24.

Leaders from Port Tampa Bay, Manitowoc Foodservice and the Times Publishing Co. will speak at the Business Network Symposium, a free event designed to give known, changing and new area businesses the chance to share their achievements and hopes for the year.

The speakers for this, the second of three such symposiums scheduled for this year, are as follows:

Paul Anderson, president and CEO of Port Tampa Bay, the largest port in Florida and ranked eighth among the top U.S. cruise ports. The port ended its fiscal year in September after handling of more than 37 million tons of cargo.

Hubertus M. Mühlhäuser, president and CEO of Manitowoc Foodservice, a global leader in food service equipment, including professional refrigeration, ice-making, food preparation, cooking, holding and beverage-dispensing technologies.

Paul Tash, chairman and CEO of the Times Publishing Co., which can boast the flagship Tampa Bay Times, one of Florida's leading newspapers and winner of 12 Pulitzer Prizes.

LCG is presenting sponsor of the events; the other sponsors are the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Sodexo Campus Services. The program runs from 7:45 to 9 a.m. on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center, 401 W. Kennedy Blvd.

The third and final symposium is scheduled for April 25.
