About 28.7 percent of the 770 degrees and certificates handed out by the North Central College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Naperville conferred 183 bachelor's degrees and 38 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Psychology, General. Data shows the school gave out 70 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General, followed by 60 bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and 41 bachelor's degrees in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
The college enrolled 2,949 students for 2016-17, including 2,716 in undergraduate programs and 233 in graduate programs.
