Graduates earn 758 degrees from Palm Beach Atlantic University

About 30.7 percent of the 758 degrees and certificates handed out by the Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Beach conferred 117 master's degrees and 62 doctor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor. Data shows the school gave out 78 master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor, followed by 63 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General and 59 doctor's degrees in Pharmacy.

The university enrolled 3,764 students for 2016-17, including 2,926 in undergraduate programs and 838 in graduate programs.
