About 60.7 percent of the 61 degrees and certificates handed out by the Dewey University-Juana Daz in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Diaz conferred 23 associate's degrees and 9 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Nursing Science. Data shows the school gave out 17 associate's degrees in Nursing Science, followed by 11 certificates in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician and 9 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
The university enrolled 275 students for 2016-17, including 256 in undergraduate programs and 19 in graduate programs.
