Graduates earn 88 degrees, certificates from CEM College-Mayaguez

About 70.5 percent of the 88 degrees and certificates handed out by the CEM College-Mayaguez in 2016-17 were to students in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Mayaguez conferred 35 associate's degrees and 27 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

Other popular programs include Pharmacy Technician/Assistant, Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) and Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist.

The college enrolled 252 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
