About 44.9 percent of the 158 degrees and certificates handed out by the Humacao Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Humacao conferred 64 associate's degrees and 7 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary. Data shows the school gave out 35 associate's degrees in Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary, followed by 19 associate's degrees in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant and 12 associate's degrees in Executive Assistant/Executive Secretary.
The college enrolled 517 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
