Graduates earn 543 degrees from University of Puerto Rico-Cayey

About 23.2 percent of the 543 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey in 2016-17 were to students in Psychology programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Cayey conferred 126 bachelor's degrees in Psychology programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Data shows the school gave out 105 bachelor's degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences, General, followed by 95 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Other and 81 bachelor's degrees in Natural Sciences.

The university enrolled 3,766 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
