About 91.3 percent of the 126 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Phoenix-Puerto Rico in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Guaynabo conferred 78 master's degrees and 37 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 62 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 32 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 6 master's degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling.
The university enrolled 223 students for 2016-17, including 108 in undergraduate programs and 115 in graduate programs.
