About 61.1 percent of the 54 degrees and certificates handed out by the Dewey University-Bayamon in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bayamon conferred 33 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide. Data shows the school gave out 29 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide, followed by 9 associate's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Teaching and 5 certificates in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.
The university enrolled 242 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
